Morgellons disease

Morgellons is a multi-symptom disease that is just now starting to be researched and understood. It has a number primary symptoms: pyhysical, Sponanteously Erupting Skin lesions, Sensation of crawling, biting on and under the skin, Appearance of blue, black or red fibers and granules beneath and/or extruding from the skin Fatigue

• Mental , Short-term memory loss Attention Deficit, Bipolar or Obsessive-Compulsive disorders Impaired thought processing (brain fog) Depression and feelings of isolation. It is frequently misdiagnosed as Delusional Parasitosis or an Obsessive Picking Disorder.

Who : Adults and Children are equally affected by the disease. Individuals in families can experience symptoms of the disease while other members are unaffected.

So it is not known, at this point, if the disease is contagious or inherited. Multiple members of a family can have symptoms.

More than 3,000 households have registered with the Morgellons Research Foundation. The Morgellons Research Foundation is the main conduit for information and networking between sufferers as well as medical professionals.

Where : Most cases in the United States are from specific geographic regions of California, Texas and Florida, though all 50 states have had reported cases. Oklahoma has reported numerous probable cases. It has been reported worldwide in places such as Europe, South Africa, Japan, The Philippines, Indonesia and Australia

When : The Morgellons Research Foundation began registering people with symptoms of the disease in 2002. The name "Morgellons Disease" is based on the description of a similar fiber producing condition, found in children by Sir Thomas Browne in 1674. Microscopic drawings, dating from 1682 by Dr. Michel Etmuller appear to be similar to the fibers from present-day sufferers.

There is no evidence giving preference to one season being a more likely time to contract the disease. There are patients who have claimed to have had the symptoms for as long as two decades. Most were diagnosed with Delusional Parasitosis and/or Obsessive Picking of the skin. Medical research started in earnest in 2005 at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa by Dr. Randy Wymore.

Why : There are doctors who believe it is related to an infectious agent, perhaps in the same family as that which causes Lyme Disease. There is no evidence to prove this theory at the present time. Morgellons is coming to the forefront now, due to the concerted effort of the Morgellons Research Foundation, founded by Mary Leitao, whose child suffers from Morgellons Disease. Attention needs to be drawn to Morgellons so:

o Doctors will become informed and make accurate diagnoses
o Insurance companies will cover medical expenses
o Major government organizations (the CDC, for example) will pay attention and start funding research

How : There is no definitive understanding of how the disease is transmitted. There is no conclusive evidence showing whether it is contagious. Some families have only one member who is affected, even after long exposure, while other families report multiple sufferers. A cure will be pursued when enough research is done to find its cause. You can help by: Contributing time, money and resources. Spreading accurate information and combating ignorance about the disease.

Morgellons is a term used by many countries around the world to describe a medical condition that has the following set of symptoms.

These symptoms include itchy skin, with crawling, biting sensations, white granules from skin and hair follicles, chronic fatigue, sores/lesions and fibrous material coming from skin.

Morgellons Disease, is not a recognised condition in the UK.
Why? Because very little clinical research has been done so far.

The term 'Morgellons', may disappear once the cause has been determined. Until then, this label helps to distinquish it for all those interested and concerned - whether it's to gain knowledge for professional purposes or to locate the centres of support that are available for sufferers.

Other parts of the world show signs of this dreadful disease, questions are bore towards the Chemical spraying that is going on everyday across the world from what we think to be commercial aircraft. ' There is strong evidence linking Chemtrail aerosol fibers to Morgellons fibers. "Airborne nanorobots can identify their host patient by chemical signature, much like a bloodhound or mosquito following its quarry's scent. Such chemical signatures or "odortypes" may include:
1. naturally-produced "baseline" chemical scents;

2. behaviorally-related scents which may appear or intensify during specific events such as heavy exercise, fear reactions (e.g., emotional excitement alone can increase the sweat rate by ~50%), defecation or flatulence, sexual activity, intoxication, and the like;

3. artificial scents such as perfumes, colognes, cosmetics and deodorants; and

4. artificial molecular taggants specially designed to simplify the recognition task, as for instance an odorless, volatile, digitally-encoded messenger molecule emitted from an external facility that is controlled by the patient.

5. Airborne nanorobots can stationkeep in the vicinity of the host patient by acoustic homing on a coded ultrasonic beacon worn by the patient, all of whose emanations are inaudible to the human ear.

• Airborne nanorobots can navigate and avoid no-fly zones (Section 9.5.3.6) by various methods. For instance, a flying nanorobot approaching... human flesh would detect thermal emissions.

• ....all aerial nanorobots can continuously transmit relative skin-proximity data to their neighbors, allowing each device within a virtual "warning lattice" to estimate its rate of approach to the nearest prohibited surface.
• ... nanorobots can also detect normal conversational speech at a range of ~2 meters using >2.4 micron3 pressure sensors (Section 4.9.1.6).

So far there are more than 10,000 families who report that they suffer from this disease.
These chemical are very small particles (nano).

They easily bypass our body’s defense system as these particles enter our lungs. If exposures are short, you can feel queasy, have pain or just feel sluggish. Should there be long-term exposure, your body’s immune system can be compromised.

Significant evidence exists that links these chemicals to health problems with the heart, lungs, kidney and other body organs. Damage to the immune system, eye irritation, stomach problems, hormonal imbalance and reproductive problems can also materialize. Health problems can be mild or worse, and even life threatening

Enhanced abilities to understand and manipulate matter at the molecular and atomic levels
promise a wave of significant new technologies over the next five decades.

Dramatic breakthroughs will occur in diverse areas such as medicine, communications, computing,
energy, and robotics.

These changes will generate large amounts of wealth and force
wrenching changes in existing markets and institutions.

This paper discusses the range of sciences currently covered by nanotechnology. It begins
with a description of what nanotechnology is and how it relates to previous scientific
advances.

It then describes the most likely future development of different technologies in a
variety of fields.

The paper also reviews the government’s current nanotechnology policy
and makes some suggestions for improvement.

Physics — The construction of specific molecules is governed by the
physical forces between the individual atoms composing them.

Nanotechnology will involve the continued design of novel molecules for
specific purposes.

However, the laws of physics will continue to govern
which atoms will interact with each other and in what way. In addition,
researchers need to understand how quantum physics affects the behavior
of matter below a certain scale.

• Chemistry — The interaction of different molecules is governed by
chemical forces. Nanotechnology will involve the controlled interaction
of different molecules, often in solution. Understanding how different
materials interact with each other is a crucial part of designing new
nanomaterials to achieve a given purpose.

• Biology — A major focus of nanotechnology is the creation of small
devices capable of processing information and performing tasks on the
nanoscale. The process by which information encoded in DNA is used to
build proteins, which then go on to perform complex tasks including the
building of more complex structures, offers one possible template.

A better understanding of how biological systems work at the lowest level
may allow future scientists to use similar processes to accomplish new
purposes. It is also a vital part of all research into medical applications.

• Computer Science — Moore’s Law and its corollaries, the phenomena
whereby the price performance, speed, and capacity of almost every
component of the computer and communications industry has improved
exponentially over the last several decades, has been accompanied by
steady miniaturization.

Continued decreases in transistor size face physical barriers including heat dissipation and electron tunneling that require new technologies to get around.

In addition, a major issue for the use of any nanodevices will be the need to exchange information with
them. Finally, scientific advances will require the ability to manage
increasingly large amounts of information collected from a large network
of sensors.

• Electrical Engineering — To operate independently, nanodevices will
need a steady supply of power. Moving power into and out of devices at
that scale represents a unique challenge. Within the field of information
technology, control of electric signals is also vital to transistor switches
and memory storage. A great deal of research is also going into
developing nanotechnologies that can generate and manage power more
efficiently.

• Mechanical Engineering — Even at the nanolevel issues such as load
bearing, wear, material fatigue, and lubrication still apply. Detailed
knowledge of how to actually build devices that do what we want them to
do with an acceptable level of confidence will be a critical component of
future research.

In general the disease Morgellons opens theories of our own, government’s experiments! In reflection to these findings a petition was raised with 10 Downing Street to where they have refused to make comments regarding this matter, so the fight goes on.
